Lillian Elizabeth Patterson
Lillian was the life of the party for 8 short years. She was tragically and suddenly taken from us on June 29, 2023 following an accident on her Ranger SxS. Her smile was contagious and she loved to make people laugh. She was kind, brave, and wild! Lillian was a competitive dirt bike racer and earned back to back AHSCS PeeWee Class Championships in 2021 and 2022. She was also a 2022 Iron Man and was recognized as the 2023 Junior Rider of the Year. She was set to win the Kids A Championship and finish 3rd in the Women’s Class Championship prior to her accident.
In the video on the BE BRAVE page above, Lillian crashes into her friend Chandler as she was passing her during one of her last races. Their tires got stuck together, and when she felt Chandler may have not been taking the situation seriously enough, Lillian reminds her friend,
“This isn’t a game, this is a race!”
Lillian definitely made an impact with her incredible accomplishments on the track, but it was her larger-than-life personality off the track, that made her truly unique. Lillian never met a stranger and loved giving gifts and helping others.
At school, she was known for telling her 1st and 2nd grade classmates,
“Be nice! You never know what someone is going through.”
There was once a little girl in her class that had lost her grandfather, and she was noticeably upset. When another classmate began laughing at the girl for crying, Lillian hugged the girl and told the boy to “Stop! You don’t know what she is going through right now!”
She truly had a big heart, full of compassion, and cared deeply about others. Bravery, kindness, and a bit of a wild streak are a few of the qualities that Lillian embodied in her too-short life. Lillian loved everyone and she was always ready with a smile, hug, or kind word. Her family and friends want Lillian’s memory to live on through acts of kindness. And remember, you never know what someone is going through, so please,
be kind.

Share your kindness and the LOVE OF LILLIAN throughout the world on social media with #wildlillian. Lillian earned this moniker before her first birthday as her mother noticed how unique, brave, and quirky she was. The Cambridge dictionary defines wild as ‘very unusual, often in a way that is attractive or exciting,’ Lillian was certainly a wild one!
